Fall migration monitoring has begun.
Want to join a morning monitoring team downtown to help birds? Attend a training class on one of the following dates:
Saturday August 24 at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, 11am to 1pm
Sunday September 8, Downtown Chicago, 10am to noon
Saturday September 21 at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive 11am to 1 pm
Thursday September 26, Downtown Chicago, 7 to 9pm

Note! If less than 3 people sign up for a training session - the session may be rescheduled and the above training dates are for joining a downtown monitoring team only.

Training Sessions
CBCM volunteers who are involved with bird rescues must participate in a training session in order to learn proper bird capture, containment and transport techniques. Training sessions are held each year prior to spring and fall bird migration.
